By using FutureLetter, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms govern your use of the FutureLetter service (the "Service") and establish the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between you and FutureLetter. Please read these terms carefully before using the Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any changes to these terms constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

FutureLetter is a web-based service that allows you to write letters to yourself and schedule them for future delivery. The Service provides the following features: • Write letters using Markdown formatting • Choose from 12 beautiful themes to style your letter • Schedule letter delivery for any future date and time • Download letters as PDF files Your letters are stored securely and will be sent to the email address you provide at the date and time you select (scheduled based on your current browser/device timezone). The Service is provided completely free of charge with no hidden costs or subscription fees.

You are responsible for the following when using the Service: • Providing accurate and up-to-date email addresses and ensuring you have permission to use them • Ensuring that your letter content does not infringe upon the rights of others and does not contain illegal or inappropriate content • Not using the Service for malicious purposes • Not attempting to gain unauthorized access to other users' letters If you violate these provisions, your access to the Service may be restricted or your account may be deleted.

We take your privacy seriously. Your letters are stored securely in Google Cloud Firestore, a managed database service operated by Google, and are only accessible through the email address you provide. We do not share, sell, or rent your information to third parties. We keep your data for up to 3 months from the scheduled delivery date, then automatically delete it. This is a measure to protect data security and privacy. If you wish to keep your letter permanently, please download it as a PDF after receiving it and store it on your personal device. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.

We strive to deliver your letters on time, but delivery may be delayed or fail in the following circumstances: • Issues with email service providers • Problems with the recipient's email server • Blocking by spam filters • Network failures • Other technical issues beyond our control We are not liable in such cases. If letter delivery fails, we will attempt to resend, but cannot guarantee delivery. The Service is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranties.

We may update these terms from time to time to improve the Service or comply with legal requirements. If there are significant changes, we will notify you through the website or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes are made means you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree to the changes, please discontinue use of the Service. The latest version of these terms is always available on our website.
